Clinical Psychology for Older People and their families.
Online and in person.
Psychological Therapy
Throughout my career, I've successfully helped hundreds of older people lead happier and more meaningful lives through personalised psychological therapy. I have a true understanding of the emotional and mental health struggles people face and the strategies that can help them heal.
Therapy will always start with a thorough assessment to help me develop a good understanding of the issues you would like support with. It may take several sessions for us to jointly make sense of what is causing and maintaining your distress.

Working with me in therapy will offer you a safe place to make positive changes in your life and in your relationships. My focus will be on building a trusting therapeutic relationship with you so that you feel supported and at ease. My aim is to offer warmth, understanding and compassion as well as expert psychological support to help you navigate life’s transitions, so that you can live your best life despite the challenges you may be facing.
I am trained in a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Systemic therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness approaches. I am able to draw creatively on these models to develop a therapy approach that is personalised to your individual needs.
